EMCOR Services Combustioneer Is An Approved Trade Ally For The Pepco C&I Energy Savings Program

ROCKVILLE, MD - March 15, 2010 - EMCOR Services Combustioneer, a leading mechanical services provider in the Washington, D.C. area, has been approved as a Trade Ally for the Pepco C&I Energy Savings Program. Pepco is the electric distribution company that serves 767,000 residential and commercial customers in Washington, DC and Montgomery and Prince George's Counties in Maryland.. EMCOR Services Combustioneer plans to participate mainly in the HVAC Incentive Program that is designed to encourage Pepco's commercial and industrial customers to install high-efficiency, energy-efficient HVAC equipment.

Pepco's C&I Energy Savings Program -HVAC Incentive Program offers rebates and incentives for customers who install energy efficient equipment, including cooling tower fans, pumps and air handlers, high efficiency motors, heating units and heat pumps. Customers may choose from a pre-qualified listing of high efficiency packaged and split-system HVAC units and receive pre-set incentives, depending on the size and efficiency of the system selected. A custom incentive program is also available for chiller retrofits that result in the reduction of kilowatt-hours.
